Concierge Pro (formerly Delivery Assistant) gives couriers a way to drop off packages when residents aren't home: a trained virtual doorman answers the call at your Latch Intercom, verifies the courier, and grants access to your building entrance. Setting it up is a sequence of steps in DOOR OS that creates the unit, doors, and key the virtual doorman needs, then puts that doorman in your Intercom directory so couriers can reach them. Plan about 20 minutes if your Building Entrance doors already exist.
About this feature
Concierge Pro is a paid, property-level service — it must be purchased before you can set it up in DOOR OS. If your property hasn't purchased it, or you're unsure, contact support@door.com before starting.
The setup works by treating the virtual doorman as a resident. You create a unit called Package Room, Concierge, or Virtual Doorman, give it a key that opens the building entrance and the package room, and invite the doorman's account into it. Because the doorman is assigned to a unit and holds a key to the Intercom's door, they appear in the Intercom directory — which is how the courier reaches them.
Residents don't enable anything. Once the service is live, it is available for every courier who calls the Package Room entry.
Before you start
Confirm the following:
- Concierge Pro has been purchased for your property.
- You're signed in to DOOR OS with permissions to create units, doors, and keys and to invite users.
- A Latch Intercom is installed and activated at your building entrance with a Latch Reader. The virtual doorman is reached through the Intercom — without one, couriers have no way to call.

If it didn't work
Couriers don't see a Package Room entry at the Intercom — an Intercom directory entry requires all four conditions: the account is assigned to a unit, it holds a key that includes the doors the Intercoms are paired to, Show in intercom is enabled on the account, and the unit is marked visible in the Intercom's display preview.
The doorman can't open the package room — confirm the Package Room key contains the entrance doors and that the account still holds it. If a Latch device on that door isn't internet-connected, it needs a Door Sync before new access takes effect at the lock.
