You control the DOOR Power Switch from the wall or the DOOR App. It turns a fixture on and off (it does not dim). This article covers on/off control, schedules and a one-time timer, the programmable buttons, and what happens after a power outage. The Power Switch reports to the app through the DOOR Hub, but on/off, schedules, and the timer run locally — so the wall switch keeps working even when the app can't reach it.
About this feature
In the DOOR App, the Power Switch appears under Devices → Controls, listed under its Unit. Tapping it opens a dashboard with an on/off toggle, schedules, and connection status. On the device, the main Switch Button turns the fixture on and off, and two programmable buttons sit above it.
Turning the fixture on and off
- At the switch: press the Switch Button. The status LED is green when on, red when off.
- In the app: use the on/off toggle on the Power Switch's dashboard.
Setting a schedule
The Power Switch supports up to 6 schedules that run on the device (no internet required).
- Open the Power Switch in Devices → Controls (under its Unit) → Schedules.
- Add periods for the days and times you want, and save.
Setting a one-time timer
Set a single-use countdown to turn the fixture on or off once. Like schedules, the timer runs on the device, so it fires even if the Hub is offline.
Programmable buttons
The Power Switch has two programmable buttons, each of which responds to a tap and a long press (the button's LED blinks green on a tap, red on a long press).
After a power outage
The Power Switch restores its last state after a power outage or firmware update — if it was on, it comes back on; if off, it stays off.
Viewing history
Under History, the Record Log shows when the fixture was turned on or off and the connection status over time.
If it didn't work
- App changes don't take effect — confirm the Power Switch shows Online; if it's offline, use the wall switch until the Hub reconnects.
