The DOOR App keeps a log of every access event at the doors you have access to. You can view it at any time in the app.
About this feature
History shows you who unlocked a door and when, and which credential they used (app, doorcode, Keycard, or mechanical key). The property management team can see history for all doors on the property — including your unit door. Residents can see history for their own unit door and their own activity at communal doors.
Events are retained for 2 years.
Steps
- Open the DOOR App and go to Access.
- Tap the door you want to review.
- Tap History.
What you'll see
At your unit door:
- Your own access events
- Events by guests you invited
- Failed unlock attempts (wrong doorcode, unauthorized credential)
- Activity by accounts with property manager permissions
- Mechanical key use (on Latch M devices; not attributed to a specific person)
At communal doors (lobby, gym, elevator, etc.):
- Your own access events
- Events by guests you invited to those doors
Notes
- You cannot delete history entries — access logs are permanent for security and audit purposes.
- After a manual Door Sync, the DOOR App displays the last 100 events logged on that device. Older events are stored on the DOOR platform; contact your property manager if you need records beyond what the app shows.
- In rare circumstances, access event data may not be captured due to device or connectivity issues.
