I changed my email address. How do I update it for DOOR?

If you changed your email address and need to use a new one for DOOR, your property management team or host may need to send your access to the new email address.

What this usually means

This usually applies when:

  • You no longer use the email address tied to your DOOR account
  • You want future invitations or account access sent to a different email address
  • You are seeing login issues because you are entering a new email address that is not tied to your current access
  • You received access under one email address, but now want to use another

What to try

  1. Confirm which email address currently has your DOOR access

If you previously received a DOOR invitation, use that same email address to sign in unless your access has been updated.

  1. Do not assume your new email address will work automatically

Changing your personal email address does not automatically update your DOOR access.

  1. Contact your property management team or host

Ask them to confirm the correct email address on file and update your access if needed.

  1. Wait for a new invitation if your email is updated

If your property management team or host changes the email address tied to your access, you may need a new invitation sent to the updated email address.

Important

Only the email address tied to your active DOOR access will work for login and password reset.

If you try to sign in or reset your password using a different email address, you may see errors such as not receiving reset emails or seeing an Email not found message.
