Configuration platform

TaskPath
Activate / pair to Intercom DoorDOOR app → DevicesDoors → select Intercom Door → Pair Camera → enter Camera MAC addressPair. The door must already have an activated lock device (Latch R) before the camera can be paired.
Verify pairing in DOOR OSDOOR OS → AccessDoors → open the Building Entrance door → confirm Camera is paired
Take a test image (property manager)DOOR app → Devices → select the door → Camera → take a test image. Used for orientation / field-of-view verification at install time or after maintenance. Property-manager-only; not available to residents.
Factory resetPress and hold the reset button on the camera for more than 15 seconds
CleaningRemove three retaining screws with the L tool; clean the dome (inside and outside) and the lens with a lint-free cloth and glass cleaner; re-attach the dome
Firmware updatesDOOR-managed — pushed to the camera over the network. Status LED amber slow-blinking indicates a firmware update in progress

What the Latch Camera is not

  • Not a standalone camera — must be paired to a Latch Intercom on a Building Entrance door.
  • Not a battery-powered or wireless device — PoE only, wired Ethernet only.
  • Not configurable via the DOOR app beyond the pairing step — firmware and core configuration is managed by DOOR. Network camera administrator credentials (per the install guide's User Authentication feature) gate any direct device-level configuration.
