Using your DOOR Thermostat

Using your DOOR Thermostat

The DOOR Thermostat can be controlled from the DOOR App — you can adjust the temperature, set a schedule, change the operating mode, and configure temperature and humidity alerts.

About this feature

Your property may set energy policy limits on the thermostat (minimum or maximum temperatures you can set). If you cannot adjust the temperature past a certain point, this is a property-level setting — contact your property management team.

Opening thermostat controls

  1. Open the DOOR App and tap the Controls tab.
  2. Tap your thermostat.
  3. Tap Open device settings.

Dashboard controls

Adjusting temperature

Use the and arrows to set your target temperature.

Selecting a mode

Choose from:

  • Auto — Heats or cools automatically to maintain the set temperature
  • Cool — Cooling only
  • Heat — Heating only
  • Eco — Energy-saving mode; limits heating and cooling to a configurable range

Fan setting

Choose whether the fan runs continuously or automatically (only when heating or cooling is active).

Enabling or disabling the thermostat

Use the toggle at the top of the Dashboard to enable or disable the thermostat configuration.

Schedules

Tap Schedules to view and customize the active schedule. You can set different temperature targets for different times of day and different days of the week.

Settings

Eco mode limits

In SettingsEco, set your preferred cool and heat limits for Eco mode. The thermostat will stay within these bounds when Eco is active.

Temperature and humidity alerts

In SettingsAlert, enable alerts for temperature, humidity, or both. Set:

  • Range — the thresholds that trigger an alert
  • Alert interval — how often alerts are sent if values stay out of range

Minimum running time

Set the minimum time the system will run each time it turns on (prevents short-cycling).

Sync time zone

Tap SettingsTime to sync your phone's current time zone with the thermostat. Do this if the thermostat schedule seems off.

History

The History tab shows a chronological log of temperature and humidity changes recorded by the thermostat.
