What's new in the Door App?

The Door App is designed to provide secure and seamless access to buildings. It offers an enhanced experience, with improvements in performance and usability.

      

Key Differences:

  1. New Interface and Navigation

    • Offers a new design for intuitive navigation, making it easier to manage your access credentials and devices. 
    • Gives you the option to select between properties (if you have access to more than one), to get a more personalized experience.
  2. Improved unlocking experience in the 'Access' menu
    • Easily navigate to the 'Access' section by tapping on the 'Key' button or your 'Access' tile in the app.
    • Shorter Doorcodes for your doors (only applicable in specific doors)
    • Reset your residential Doorcode directly from the App (only applicable to specific doors). For more information please check this article: Can I change my Doorcode?

  3. New 'Controls' menu

    • Seamless Integration with Smart Devices in. The Door App supports integration with compatible smart home and access devices. This ensures a seamless experience when managing sensors, thermostats, and other devices within the app.

  4. New 'Services' menu
    • The Door App now allows you to schedule an on-site visit with a specialist directly from your account. From TV mounting and computer networking to yard cleanup, we've got you covered!
  5. Profile details editing

    • Name and profile picture editing directly from the Door App.

  6. In-app Communication and Support

    • Includes resources and support features to receive assistance directly through the app.

Services in the Door App

The Door App now allows you to schedule an appointment with a HelloTech expert directly from your account for a variety of services, including TV mounting, home cleaning, and handyman services. 

Booking a Service

  1. Open the Door App.
  2. Tap on the Services tile or on the Services section in the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Tap on Book a service.
  4. Select the service you want and follow the steps to schedule the appointment.
  5. Confirm the address, date, and time of your appointment.
  6. Select your payment method and tap on Complete booking.

Contacting Support

  • If you have any issues booking a service through the Door App, contact doorman@door.com.
  • If you need help with a service you have booked, navigate to Profile Settings, then tap on Contact support and contact HelloTech in the Door Services Support section.
